This race pilot watch is named in homage to the legendary Lotus with black and gold livery "John Player Special," with which the team clinched the Formula 1 championship with Mario Andretti in 1978, and was later piloted in the 1980s by Ayrton Senna (with number 12) and Elio de Angelis.
