Racing driver watches paying homage to some of the historic racing circuits that initiated the world of automotive competition. This racing pilot watch is named in tribute to the Monaco Circuit, located between Monte Carlo and La Condamine in the Principality of Monaco. Although it was built and inaugurated in 1920, it wasn't until April 14, 1929, that the first Grand Prix was raced, won by William Grover-Williams driving a Bugatti Type 35B.

The race was conceived by Antony Noghès, President of the Automobile Club de Monaco, and is one of the three comprising the Triple Crown (alongside the Indianapolis 500 and the 24 Hours of Le Mans), only won to date by Graham Hill.

The most successful winner of the Monaco Grand Prix is Ayrton Senna with 6 victories, followed by Graham Hill (known as Mr. Monaco) and Michael Schumacher with 5 victories each.
